We accept no responsibility for the use or misuse of cookies by such partners; any and all liability arising from such use or misuse shall be for the relevant third party and not us.
- In particular, we recognise the importance of security in respect of the credit/debit card information you send over the Internet. Credit/debit card data which is collected from you is encrypted and stored on secure dedicated servers and will only be used for the purposes of collecting any Game entry fees from you, processing transactions undertaken by you in relation to the Website or any Game, and/or conducting credit checks and checks against fraud as described below.
- By completing the Registration Form and using the Website or playing any Game, you agree that:
- any data provided by you in the Registration Form or otherwise in connection with the Website or any Game either to us or to any of our associated partners or to any third party which provides services to us (together "Data Recipients") (or obtained by any Data Recipient through the Website in relation to your use of the Website or any Game) ("Your Data") may be used by any Data Recipient for the purposes of processing transactions undertaken by you or otherwise providing services to you in relation to the Website or any Game, for internal administration, statistical analysis and market research, for making such credit checks and checks against fraud as it considers appropriate and for obtaining professional advice ("the Purposes") and may be transferred between Data Recipients for the Purposes, and you consent to such use (including without limitation the collection, storage, processing and transfer) of Your Data for the Purposes;
- any Data Recipient may undertake such credit checks and checks against fraud as it considers prudent (including but not limited to searching your records at credit reference agencies, adding to such records details of their searches and your registration with the Game which information may be seen by others who make searches of such records) and you consent to the use (including without limitation the collection, storage, processing and transfer) of the additional data so obtained ("the Additional Data") by any of the Data Recipients for the Purposes;
- any Data Recipient may disclose individually identifiable data to the relevant authorities and/or other third parties (including without limitation in relation to any other Website operated by any Data Recipient or to any third party to whom any Data Recipient provides services) if it reasonably believes that your use of the Website or our services or your participation in any Game is fraudulent or in breach of these Terms or any terms of the relevant Game or any other relevant terms and conditions;
- any Data Recipient may use Your Data and/or any Additional Data about you for direct marketing of services which any Data Recipient thinks may be of interest to you ("Additional Purposes"); if you do not wish to receive marketing information from us and/or any other Data Recipient, please click and mark the appropriate box(es) on the Registration Form;
- any Data Recipient may transfer or license Your Data and/or any Additional Data about you as part of a transfer or license of all or part of its direct marketing database to trustworthy third parties for direct marketing of services which such third party thinks may be of interest to you ("Ancillary Purposes"); if you do not wish to receive marketing information from such third parties, please click and mark the appropriate box on the Registration Form;
- the Data Recipients may contact you by email, telephone, fax, post or any other available method for any of the Purposes or (unless you have clicked the relevant opt-out above) any of the Additional Purposes or any of the Ancillary Purposes;
- any Data Recipient may transfer any of Your Data and/or any Additional Data about you in connection with any sale, joint venture or other transfer of all or any of its business or assets;
- By completing the Registration Form and using the Website or playing any Game
- you acknowledge that the internet is a global environment and so using the internet to collect and/or process personal data unavoidably involves the transmission of data internationally, and further recognise that use of Your Data and/or any Additional Data about you will involve the transfer and processing of such Data internationally, in both cases including to and in countries where adequate data protection may not be ensured, and you consent to the transmission, transfer and processing of such Data in this way; and
- you acknowledge that because of the complex and constantly changing nature of the Data Recipients' technology, the Data Recipients cannot guarantee error-free performance regarding the privacy of your Data or any Additional Data about you, and no Data Recipient shall be liable for any incidental, consequential or punitive damages relating to the use or release of the same.
- You have the right
- to request corrections if any of Your Data or any Additional Data about you on the Personal Details section of the Website is incorrect;
- to receive a copy of Your Data and any Additional Data stored by the Data Recipients; a fee may be payable;
- to receive details of the credit reference and fraud prevention agencies from or to whom any Data Recipient obtains or passes information about you.
