New Players added to Fantasy Football player list…

Five players have been added to the You The Manager Fantasy Football player list this week.

Have a look through them below, and decide if any of them could help your team climb up the monthly leaderboard this November…

344 - Herita Ilunga - Defender - West Ham - £2m

Ilunga has been a regular starter at left-back for the Hammers, and is likely to get plenty of game time in the coming months. He appears to be a very assured left-back, not afraid to bomb forward and help in attack. His Fantasy rating very much depends on West Ham’s ability to keep clean sheets.

345 - Nadir Belhadj - Defender - Portsmouth - £2m

Belhadj is another left-back who has been performing well for Pompey. Harry Redknapp’s departure may have tarnished the south coast club’s reputation, but their players remain (at least until January!), and they should pick up plenty of Fantasy Football points in the next 2 months.

647 - Joey Barton - Midfielder - Newcastle United - £3m

Barton has committed the crime, served the time, and now he’s back on the Tyne… Whether you are prepared to give this young man a second chance is your choice, but Newcastle are getting results under Joe Kinnear, and Barton will almost definitely play. Beware though, he gobbles up Yellow Cards for fun!

791 - Carlos Vela - Striker - Arsenal - £2m

Vela burst onto the scene at the Emirates with a hat-trick on his senior debut in the Carling Cup 3rd Round. With Adebayor injured and Robin van Persie suspended, Bendtner is the only other striker on the Gunners’ books, and Vela could be the man to kick-start their season… £2m could be a total bargain!

792 - Shola Ameobi - Striker - Newcastle United - £2.5m

Big Shola is a terrible footballer, with a poor touch and no grace. However, he gets into the defence and scores important goals, like his strong header against Sunderland in October. If he can get a partnership going with Obafemi Martins or Michael Owen, he could be a useful transfer for any Fantasy Football team.
