Everyone’s talking about…
…Arsenal post Thierry Henry at the moment. Cesc Fabregas, undoubtedly the most exciting player in the Premier League at this moment in time, has stated this week that with Henry, the young Gunners were afraid to express themselves. Now with Henry gone, they are 2 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand… Make your own conclusions!
Fabregas was again outstanding on Saturday as Derby were overrun. Adebayor looks like being a YTM bargain striker at £6.5m… £2.5m cheaper than Didier Drogba, who may very well never again wear the Blue shirt of Chelsea!?!
Mark Viduka’s two goals on Sunday were those of a natural born goalscorer. With Michael Owen expected to be out for the forseeable future, I expect The Duke to fire in a few more goals before Christmas. Outside bet for top goalscorer… you’d better believe it!
I was lucky enough to be at Craven Cottage on Saturday to witness the goalfest between Fulham and Man City. My summation is fairly short and sweet… Kasper Schmeichel is a complete howler waiting to happen, as he flaps at too much. Micah Richards has a temper on him that could get him in trouble sooner rather than later. Martin Petrov terrorised Chris Baird… but that is more Baird’s flaws than Petrov’s magnificence. And finally, only a complete mug would ever ever EVER consider, even flirt with the mere passing thought, that any Fulham defenders would ever get into any fantasy team ever ever ever!!

I agree that the Man City bubble is set to burst at some point. Kasper has been lucky he hasn’t been punished for more mistakes and if it wasn’t for the wise old head of Dunne, young Micah would have been punished more too.
But Viduka as an outside tip for top goalscorer? I presume you mean outside as in “outside the realms of possibility”?!?! He’ll lose interest, form and fitness by February.
